PSA: I stopped planning loops around cool towns and started planning around water sources

Used to build every route by picking a fun town to end in, then figuring out miles per day after, and got wrecked on a dry stretch near the Gila in 2023 with 40oz left at noon. Now I map sources first and let the towns fall where they fall, anyone else flip the order?
