Hit 200 miles on the PCT before I finally stopped counting and started paying attention
I always tracked every single mile on my hikes. I had a spreadsheet, the whole deal. But somewhere around mile 200 on the PCT in Southern California, I realized I could not remember the last three miles I walked. The numbers were getting in the way of actually being there. Now I just check my total at the end of the day and leave the GPS in my bag. Has anyone else had that moment where the tracking stopped being useful?

Tracked my snacks once. Missed a whole mountain.

Did you try prelogging your snacks before you even ate them?
