That one week in Seattle where everything went right for a change

I was swapping out a busted GPS antenna on a 737 at Boeing Field and had all my tools laid out perfect... the weather even held up for once. Got the job done in 3 hours flat with zero rework, which never happens for me on those tight bulkhead runs. Has anyone else had a shift where the plane just seemed to cooperate?

I used to roll my eyes at people who talked about a plane "cooperating" - tools don't have moods, right? But after 15 years in the hangar, I've had enough shifts where everything clicked into place that I can't write it off anymore. That feeling when you tighten the last bolt and realize you didn't have to crawl back for a single forgotten socket, that's something real.

Wrote off that "cooperating plane" stuff too, @cooper.phoenix. Then I had a night shift on a CRJ where every damn connector just slid on smooth, no cussing no skinned knuckles. Felt like the plane was saying "thanks for keeping me flying." Still not convinced it's magic or anything. But getting through a repair without one single redo? That's rare enough to feel special.
