Rant: Took my kid to the air museum in Dayton and saw a wiring harness that made me cringe.

It was in a restored P-51 cockpit display, and the bundle routing was pinched hard against a sharp bracket edge. I know it's static, but seeing that chafe point gave me flashbacks to chasing intermittent faults. Do you guys ever spot stuff like that in public displays and just itch to grab your tools?

Saw a display engine at a car show with a fuel line resting on a hot exhaust manifold replica. The placard called it "museum quality" but all I could see was a future vapor lock. Karen West59 would have lost her mind over the routing.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing that makes my eye twitch. Like, just move the bundle two inches, people.

Honestly Karen, sometimes those small things don't bother me at all. Like when someone leaves a shopping cart near the curb instead of the corral, maybe they had a screaming kid to deal with. Or if a package is left a bit off-center on the porch, the delivery person was probably in a huge rush. Getting worked up over two inches feels like looking for stuff to be mad about, you know?
