Passed my 500th avionics install sign off in El Paso and found a loose cannon plug on the last one
I hit 500 sign offs on my stamp last Thursday at the hangar in El Paso. Numbers don't mean much to me but this one got me thinking about how many times I almost missed something. On number 500, a King Air 350, I found a cannon plug that wasn't clicked in all the way on the AHRS harness and it was only hanging on by one thread. Took me 45 minutes to trace it back because somebody zip tied it in a spot that looked fine from the access panel. Curious if any of you keep a running tally or if that is just a me thing?
