My old aircraft schematic binder taught me something about digital

Pulled out my 2007 Boeing wiring binder last week to trace a 737 fault in Phoenix. The new guys on the shift only knew the tablet schematics, took them 20 minutes to find the same pin I got in 2. Has anyone else noticed the digital tools killed the muscle memory for reading the old paper layouts?

Funny thing about muscle memory. My old man taught me on paper maps for flying, not schematics. GPS came in and suddenly nobody could read a VOR radial to save their life. Same kind of thing I guess, different tools. The tablet guys will figure it out eventually, or they won't. Either way the paper stuff still works when the battery dies. That's the part nobody thinks about until it happens.
