I finally tested my own solder joints under load

Bench checked a batch of 40 connectors last week, all passed continuity. Installed them on a King Air. First engine run, two of them dropped packets. Turns out my iron tip was oxidized, joints looked fine but were cold underneath. Learned to wiggle test every pin before I button things up. Anyone else got burned by a tool that tests fine but lies to you?
