Frustrated watching new guys skip the pin checks on harnesses

I've pulled three harnesses this month where someone just plugged in a new LRU after a fault code instead of checking pin continuity first. Turns out two of those had bent pins in the connector that just killed the new box too. How do you guys get rookies to actually respect the troubleshooting flow when they're in a rush?

My last apprentice fried three ECUs in one week because he was "too experienced" to read the manual.

Man, my buddy's new guy melted a fuse box because the manual was "beneath him" too.

Three ECUs in a week? That's like setting money on fire just to watch it burn. Maybe that guy should stick to changing lightbulbs.
