Finally switched from a heat gun to a proper crimp tool on cannon plugs and my reject rate went to zero
I kept melting wires on D38999 connectors until an old guy at the hangar in Wichita showed me his ratcheting crimper, and I haven't scrapped a single pin in 4 months, so what's everyone else using for those tiny 26 gauge contacts?

Wait, you're actually crimping 26 gauge contacts by hand without losing your mind? I gave up on those tiny pins years ago and just order pre-wired pigtails because my eyes and fingers can't handle it anymore.
