Dropped $340 on a used harness tester at the Dallas trade show and it bench checked fine, then crapped out on the first real job
Seller swore it was freshly calibrated but two pins were dead when I ohmed it out, and now he won't answer my calls. Anyone got a go-to guy for harness testers that won't ghost you after the sale?

Did you pay with a card or something you can dispute? I got burned on a used tester at a swap meet years back and my bank reversed it once I showed the dead pins in writing, so that route is worth a shot before you eat the loss. Your mileage may vary, but now I only buy from shops that let me test on site or offer a 30 day return.
