Week from hell with a Denver to Boise delivery, need to vent

Had a carrier lined up for a sedan from Denver to Boise last month, paid $650 upfront. The guy ghosted me mid-drive, no updates for 3 days, then my car showed up a week late with a dented passenger door and 200 extra miles on it. Dispatch said it was 'weather related' but the GPS log showed he detoured through Salt Lake for another load. I ended up filing a claim with my insurance and the broker only refunded $200 after tons of back and forth. Has anyone else had a carrier double-book like that, and what did you do to get any kind of resolution?
