Pro tip: paid a broker $250 upfront to ship my truck from Phoenix to Denver and never heard from him again
Booked it back in March. Guy had a website, a DOT number, the whole thing looked legit. Said he'd have a carrier assigned within a week. Called and emailed for two months, nothing. Found out later he was just reselling the job to whoever would take it cheapest and my truck sat in a lot for 22 days. Ended up going direct with the carrier for $150 less. Has anyone actually gotten money back from one of these guys or do you just eat it?
