A dispatcher in Reno told me my pickup photos were costing me money, and I argued with him for 20 minutes
I used to shoot 3 or 4 quick pics of the car in my driveway before listing it for transport, thought that was plenty. He told me shippers pass on listings with dark or angled shots because they can't judge clearance for the ramps, and I called it nonsense at the time. First quote I got was $1,450, then I redid the photos in daylight with the wheels straight and a shot of the front bumper and undercarriage, and the next quote came in at $980. So was he right, or did I just get lucky with timing on the market?
