Mechanic in Grand Rapids told me my $8 car wash pass is wrecking my clear coat
He pointed at the swirl marks all over my hood and asked where I wash it. Said the gas station brushes hold grit from every truck that goes through, and after 2 winters of that my paint looks sanded. Anyone else ditched the tunnel wash for a touchless or hand wash for this reason?
