Am I the only one who learned the hard way that wheel locks are worthless if the key is in the glovebox?
Parked at the Dayton Mall lot last Friday night and came back to my Civic sitting on bare rotors, all four wheels gone. Turns out the lock key was in the glovebox because the last shop that rotated my tires tossed it back in there. I had to call my brother at 11pm to bring jack stands and borrow his truck to get it home. Now I keep the key on my own ring, but has anyone found a lock setup that actually slows these guys down?
