Used a heat gun on a seized brake bleeder and the whole fitting snapped flush

I was working on a 2011 F-150 with a stuck rear bleeder valve. Grabbed my Milwaukee heat gun, gave it a solid minute of direct heat, and went to turn it. The thing sheared off clean, leaving the threaded part inside the caliper. I learned that even with heat, some of that Michigan road salt corrosion is a lost cause. Anyone have a go-to extractor set for this mess that won't cost me a new caliper?

My go-to is a left-hand drill bit and a cheap extractor set from Harbor Freight. It saved my bacon on a caliper last year, and I bet it would work for you too, @thompson.nathan.

Tbh, that Michigan salt is basically welding them shut.

sage_perry77, your comment about the salt welding things shut reminds me of my old truck's door handles last winter. They'd freeze solid and you had to pour warm water over the latch just to get in. It was like the whole vehicle was glued shut.
