Tried both a serpentine belt tool and a cheap pry bar, the tool wins easy

Last week I had to swap a belt on a 2012 Ford Focus. Usually I just use a long pry bar and muscle it on, but my buddy let me borrow his fancy belt tensioner tool. The difference was night and day. Got the old belt off in 30 seconds without scraping my knuckles on the alternator pulley. Has anyone else made the switch to a proper tool or do you still go caveman style?

Yeah, I get way more control with a simple pry bar and it never fails me.
