I had to drive 15 miles to the nearest parts store at 7 PM because my last spare vanished from the tray, so what's your go-to method for keeping track of them?

That's a wild take... but what about the cost? A full set of good knives is hundreds of dollars. Do you actually do that, or is it more of a joke about not wanting to sharpen them? I can't imagine just throwing out a whole set when the blades get dull. It feels so wasteful, not just with money but with materials. The idea of it makes me kind of uncomfortable, to be honest.
