That $45 coil pack tester paid for itself in one job last Tuesday

Been fighting a misfire on a 2014 Accord for two days. Swapped plugs, swapped coils one by one, still had code P0302. Bought one of those inline spark testers with the adjustable gap for $45 at O'Reilly. Turns out the number 2 coil was firing but weak under load, intermittent. The light on the tester flickered like crazy when I revved it. Never would have caught that with just a multimeter. Anyone else use these or do you guys just throw parts at it and hope?
