Saw a guy using a breaker bar on an oxygen sensor today...

Stopped by Precision Auto in Tacoma this morning to grab some parts and watched a tech fighting a stuck O2 sensor with a breaker bar, nearly rounding it off before the owner walked over with a proper sensor socket and a torch. Took him maybe 10 minutes after that, but I bet the first guy wasted 30 and probably messed up the threads. Anyone else run into shops where the new guys skip the right tools and end up costing more time than they save?
