Just passed 400 engine rebuilds in my shop, never kept a count before
Pulled the logbook off the shelf while hunting a warranty claim and did the math, my first 50 took twice as long as the last 50, has anyone else hit a round number that made them rethink their process?

My logbook math moment was realizing I've eaten roughly 4,000 sandwiches at my desk and still can't remember to bring a napkin. But your 50 vs 50 thing is real, the first batch is always the worst because you're still figuring out the torque specs and which bolt hates you. By rebuild 350 you could probably do it with one hand while arguing with a parts guy on the phone. Wish I had a number like that to look back on, mine would just show I got slower and crankier.
