Just hit 10 years at the same shop and it feels weird

I always thought I'd bounce around more, but the owner gave me a key to the building after year five and I just never left. We're a small crew in Dayton, and the steady work on German cars kept me interested. Honestly thought I'd be somewhere else by now. Anyone else find themselves way more settled in this job than they expected?

Steady work on German cars" is the key, right? My cousin's shop in Akron has the same thing with old Volvos, and they never have to look for customers.

Wait, Akron has a shop that only fixes old Volvos? That's wild. Wilson.sam is right about the expensive mistakes part, but you need a special kind of patience for those cars. Sounds like your cousin found a perfect little niche.

Ever notice how the most reliable jobs are built around fixing other people's expensive mistakes?
