Customer asked me to fix a 'clunking' and handed me a bag of bolts
Guy rolls in yesterday with a noise he swears is the suspension, then hands me a ziploc full of random bolts from his trunk and says 'these might help' lol. I pulled the skid plate off and found one missing mount bolt, the rest were from an old shelf he forgot about. Anyone else get customers who treat their car like a junk drawer?

People always think random junk from their life connects to their car somehow, like the universe runs on spare parts or something. It's the same energy as someone bringing you a weird screw they found on the floor and expecting it to fix their whole engine. The shelf bolts are a classic sign they just dump everything in the trunk and lose track of what's actually theirs.
