This week was a nightmare... 4 hours of sanding ruined by a single drip

Honestly, I had a job come in on Tuesday, a silver Honda Civic with a nasty scratch down the passenger side. I spent a solid 4 hours sanding, priming, and blocking it out perfectly. Then I go to spray the clear coat and a big drip runs right down the middle of the panel. I had to strip it all back and start over the next morning. Took me an extra 3 hours to fix my own mistake. Has anyone else had a repair that just fought you every step of the way?

That drip in the clear is the worst, next time try laying a heavier second coat to help it level out.
