That Tuesday I fixed 11 cars before lunch and then nothing for 3 days

Two Tuesdays back the phone just would not stop, we had 11 cars come in by noon and 6 of them were easy bumper jobs that took under an hour each. I was feeling like a hero, cutting and buffing like crazy, even got a nasty quarter panel dent on a Civic looking factory fresh before 11. Then Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday it was like someone flipped a switch, 2 cars total and one was just a respray estimate. Do not ask me what changed, same ads, same sign, same neighborhood in Tacoma, just dead air. The back and forth messed up my scheduling bad and I had a guy standing around with nothing to do for hours. Anyone else get these weird hot and cold streaks or is it just how this trade goes?
