That $12 Harbor Freight sander paid for itself on a rusty fender
Picked up the cheap DA sander last month for a 2004 Civic quarter panel and it stripped the rust down to bare metal in about 20 minutes. My $200 name brand one bogged down on the same spot. Anyone else find budget tools that just work for certain jobs, or did I get lucky?

Got a buddy who bought the same one for his old Mustang after his expensive one kept stalling. He said it chewed through rust like it was butter and now it lives in his truck full time. Cheap tools can surprise you sometimes, no shame in that.
