Rant: I tried cheap bondo from the big box store instead of Evercoat and now I'm redoing a whole quarter panel

Mixed up that off-brand stuff last Tuesday and it was still gummy after 20 minutes, had to scrape it all off with a razor and start over with the good stuff, anyone else learned this lesson the hard way?

Oh man, "still gummy after 20 minutes" - that's the worst. I made that mistake once with some generic filler and ended up with a cursed blob that just smeared everywhere, like trying to spread peanut butter on a hot day.
