Rant: Eating pizza over fresh bodywork should be a fireable offense

I just watched a coworker drop pepperoni grease on a primed fender and act like it's no big deal. That stuff kills adhesion and leads to peeling later on. We're pros, not animals, keep the food away from the cars. If you can't wait for break time to eat, maybe this trade isn't for you. It's basic respect for the work and the customer's ride.

Pepperoni grease kills adhesion, heard it causes fisheyes later.

Oh man, that pepperoni grease killing adhesion is so true! The oils soak in deep and ruin the surface for any paint. Fisheyes happen because the grease makes the paint pull back from those spots later. You really need to scrub the area with a strong cleaner to get it all off. I've seen whole paint jobs fail from just a little pizza oil left behind!
