Just had a clear coat reaction on a '22 Civic in the booth today
Sprayed a fresh blend panel and the edge of the old clear wrinkled up like a prune. Had to stop, sand the whole mess back with 800, and reshoot. Anyone have a go-to sealer they trust to lock that out?

Check the old clear's cure time first.

Oh, good call from @the_caleb! Cure time is huge, but the bigger issue is usually the old clear's adhesion. If it's failing, no amount of waiting will fix that.
