Forgot to check the weather before spraying clear coat...
Was finishing up a hood repair yesterday and didn't look outside... a sudden rain shower came through the open bay door. The clear coat started to bubble up with water spots before I could react. Now I have to sand the whole thing down and start over... my boss just shook his head and laughed. Guess I'll be checking the forecast from now on.

But is it really that serious? You have to sand it down, but that's just part of the job sometimes. Your boss laughed, so it can't be that bad. It's just clear coat, not the base paint. Couldn't you just fix the spots instead of redoing everything? These things happen, and it's not the end of the world.

At my old shop, I ruined a whole fender with morning mist, so now I'm a weather app addict.
