Finished a full respray on a rusted-out 1993 F-150 this morning
Spent three weeks straight at my shop off Highway 49 in Auburn sanding and priming that thing, and the blue finally popped yesterday. My customer teared up seeing it in the sun which made all the dust worth it. Has anyone else had a job where the owner got genuinely emotional?

That blue really does look good on those old body styles. I have to say though, a '93 would have been built in the 1993 model year, not 1993 calendar year. Ford didn't switch to the OBD-II system until 1996, so you're probably fine on that front.

Man come on, it's a truck from 1993 not a museum piece. Nobody's checking the actual build week against the model year when they're admiring the paint. If the guy likes his blue Ford, let him enjoy it without pulling out the technical specs. Next thing you'll tell me his spark plugs are gapped wrong for the altitude or something.
