Saw the TikTok, saw the lines around the block in Footscray, thought it had to be worth it. Got there and it was one bloke with a portable grill playing the same three songs on a speaker. No lights, no DJ, nothing. Took my mate, so that's $70 gone plus parking. Other side of this: maybe I'm just too old and the joke went over my head, and the $35 was really paying for the bit. So which is it? Did anyone else go and have a better time, or did we all just fund one guy's new esky?
