That week in January when every meme was about the bin chicken

I still think back to that week in 2023 where the ibis basically took over every Aussie meme page. It started with one video of a bin chicken stealing a meat pie in Parramatta, and by Thursday it was on the news and even my 60 year old neighbour was sharing them. The whole country was in on the joke at once, which felt so rare these days when trends split off into their own corners. Does anyone else miss when a single silly animal could unite everyone for a solid week?
