That Aussie breakdancer Raygun sparked a fake TikTok trend and I got fooled hard
So last week a clip popped up on my feed of a tradie in Adelaide doing the Raygun kangaroo hop on a worksite and I shared it in three group chats thinking it was real. Turned out someone had stitched two videos together, the guy was actually just stretching, and the original poster admitted it in the comments after it racked up 800k views. I felt like a dill for about an hour until I saw the exact same edit posted by five other accounts in Perth and Brisbane with different captions. The thing that got me was how fast it spread, my sister in Geelong sent it back to me before I even told her I'd shared it. Has anyone else been burned by a stitched Raygun clip, or is it just me?
