My mate's bluey edit blew up on TikTok and now he's got a ratbag problem in his comments

Tbh I used to just scroll past Australian memes and think they were all just the same old gags about kangaroos and meat pies. But last week my mate from Geelong posted a 15 second edit of his dog chasing a bin chicken and it got 2 million views overnight. Now he's dealing with all these overseas comments saying it's fake and asking why the bird is called a bin chicken, plus a few locals arguing about which suburb has the worst one. Has anyone else had their normal content suddenly go viral and then get stuck explaining Aussie slang to randoms for days?
