Can we talk about that blowfly video that popped off last month

My mate Dave told me this clip of a blowfly landing on a politician's face during a press conference in Brisbane would hit 2 million views in a week. I laughed and said no chance, nobody cares about flies. He bet me a carton of XXXX Gold on it. Checked the numbers yesterday and it's sitting at 3.4 million on TikTok alone. The guy didn't even flinch, just kept talking about infrastructure funding while the thing walked across his nose. Has anyone else seen a random Aussie moment blow up way bigger than you expected?

Mate I was just talking about this with my cousin the other day and she reckons her whole office watched it on repeat during lunch. @mia748 yeah that joke he made about it being a 'fly-in fly-out worker' was classic. I remember when a possum got stuck in my mate's ceiling fan during a footy game and somehow that got 200k views on Facebook. It's wild how the most random stuff just takes off like that.
