Tried stacking 50 shots of the Orion Nebula with and without a light pollution filter

I live near Phoenix and the sky glow is pretty bad, so I shot the same target two nights in a row, first without a filter and then with my Optolong L-Pro. The difference in the final stacked image was huge, with way more color and detail coming through in the filtered version. Has anyone else found a specific filter that made a bigger difference than you expected for your location?

What filter did your friend use that worked so well in the city?

Try the built-in urban filter and bump up the contrast a bit.

Built-in urban filter? Might as well just slap a "generic" sticker on it.
