Tried a 30 second exposure on the Orion Nebula last night, my backyard shot looks like a Hubble image now.

Funny how the gear talk always comes first... my own skill level is basically just pointing the thing at the sky and hoping for the best. Half my shots still look like someone smeared Vaseline on the lens, Hubble this is not. Guess I'll just keep blaming the equipment until my skills magically catch up.
