That critique about my stacked moon photos stung, but it was right.

Someone said my composite looked fake because the lunar terminator didn't match across frames. Now I manually align the shadows in each shot before stacking - makes it look way more legit.

Yeah that attention to little details really separates the pros from the amateurs in everything.

It really is wild how those little things add up, @daniel_walker. Like, a good carpenter will make sure their cuts are dead straight and sand every edge smooth, while an amateur might just rush through and leave rough spots. Same with cooking, a pro chef will season in layers and rest their meat properly, but a beginner might just throw salt on at the end. It's that habit of caring about the small stuff that makes everything turn out way better in the end.
