Lots of galaxy shots on here lately. I took a photo of Jupiter and its moons with my backyard telescope. What's your go-to method for planetary imaging?

After midnight for calm air, man that's some serious dedication lol.

Last month I captured Saturn using my 6-inch reflector. I stack around a thousand video frames with free software like Autostakkert. Good results need calm air, so I often image after midnight. A 2x barlow lens boosts the planet's size on the sensor.

Used a 3x barlow, stacked frames, got sharp Saturn details.
