I finally looked at my family's old astronomy slide collection

We used to huddle together in the dark to see stars on the wall. These days, the kids scroll through galaxy pics on their phones alone.

My dad's old slide projector seemed lame, but this hit different.

Old tech hits different sometimes.

It's got that solid build quality that screams "this will outlive you," but also makes you feel like a museum curator trying to operate it.
