Had a weird moment at Joshua Tree last weekend looking up at the stars

I was out near Skull Rock around 2am and noticed how the Milky Way lined up perfectly with a gap in the rocks, like nature framed it for us. Anyone else ever catch a random alignment like that where the landscape and sky just click?

I mean, it's a cool coincidence but let's not pretend the universe personally arranged some rocks for your viewing pleasure. There's literally thousands of gaps in rocks out there and the Milky Way is basically a giant smear across the whole sky. You probably would have had a perfectly fine view standing ten feet to the left instead of where you were. People get so dramatic about these things like they've witnessed a miracle when really it's just the Earth spinning and rocks being rocks.
