TIL my coffee order went from 2 minutes to 20 seconds after I stopped saying 'surprise me'

I used to hit the same coffee stand on 5th Ave every morning and always told the barista to surprise me. One day the new guy asked what I actually liked, I said 'just dark and hot' and he wrote it on a cup. Now they see me coming and have it ready before I even reach the counter. It took 4 months of me being lazy to figure that out. Anyone else realize being specific saves way more time than being fun?
