Spent 45 minutes trying to open a pickle jar before realizing the lid was backwards threaded
Bought a jar of those spicy pickles from the farmers market last Sunday. Could not for the life of me get the lid off. Tried a towel, rubber band, even ran it under hot water. Finally looked closer at the lid and it had a little arrow saying "turn opposite". Felt like an idiot. Anyone else run into this kind of thing with non-standard jars?
