So I was cleaning a patient's teeth last Tuesday and the ultrasonic scaler's water line just... stopped. No spray at all. I was mid-procedure.

I mean, it's just a water line on the scaler, not the drill. You can still finish the cleaning by hand, right? It's a hassle for sure but calling it mid-procedure makes it sound like surgery stopped. Maybe it's just me but I've had that happen and you just swap tools. Idk, feels like a normal Tuesday at any dental office.

Mid-procedure, seriously?

Wait, is the tool breaking really that big of a deal? Like @fox.matthew said it's mid-procedure, but it's just a cleaning, not actual surgery. You grab another tool and keep going. It feels like making a small problem sound way worse than it is. Stuff breaks all the time in any job.
