Shoutout to the person who asked about their car's check engine light last week

Everyone keeps saying to just clear the code, but that's like ignoring a fever. The code is a symptom, not the problem. I spent $300 on a proper scan tool that reads live data, and it showed my oxygen sensor was lazy, not dead. Anyone have a go-to method for diagnosing before throwing parts at it?

Yeah, clearing the code is like hitting snooze on a fire alarm. Paige86, I usually watch the sensor voltage graph first to see if it's actually moving.
