Pro tip: A guy in Phoenix said my question titles were too vague and it changed how I post here.

He told me 'Your title 'Help with a thing' gives me nothing to work with, be specific.' I started writing titles like 'How do I fix a stripped screw in a metal door hinge?' and my answers got way better. Anyone else get a piece of feedback that flipped a switch for them?

Yeah, samjohnson's couch story is the perfect example.

Guess it took a guy in Phoenix to teach us all how to use the subject line.

That's a solid point from @the_charlie. Reminds me of the time a client kept emailing me with no subject, just "HELP" lol. Took a week to figure out he needed his couch moved to the second floor.
