I used to just Google any question I had, but now I always start with the 'Ask Anything' community first. The difference is huge.

Ever notice how a forum answer often explains the "why" behind the facts?

It's a good point, @the_laura. The best answers don't just give a date or a name, they tell you the reason something happened. It reminds me of trying to fix my old car. I could look up the part that broke, but I really needed to know why it wore out in the first place to stop it from happening again. That deeper explanation is what makes a forum useful instead of just a list of facts.

Sometimes knowing the "why" just clutters up a simple answer.
