A guy at the gym in Tempe asked me why I rack weights so slow, and his reason stuck
I was loading plates after squats at a gym in Tempe and this guy Marcus asked why I take so long to rack them. He told me his brother got a hernia at 34 from twisting to rush a plate back, so now he never does it sideways. I started racking one plate at a time facing the rack, and honestly my lower back feels better after leg day too. Has anyone else changed how they move in the gym because of one comment?
