Paid $400 for a ground penetrating radar scan on my backyard and it saved me from digging into an old burial site
I was about to trench for a garden path in my 1920s property near the old mill district on a whim, dropped $400 for a GPR survey last week, and the guy flagged a dark anomaly six feet down that turned out to match unmarked graves on the 1871 town map, has anyone else ever shelled out for a survey before breaking ground?

Bet that map check is the real winner here, most folks just dig and hope. Honestly, for $400 you basically bought insurance against a nightmare cleanup and maybe some local ghost drama. Worth every penny if you ask me.
